StillPoint History

StillPoint Spiritual Center,a Teaching Chapter  affiliated with Centers for Spiritual Living of Golden, CO.  was founded in 2006 by the Reverend Mary Louise Ruffner and Robbin G. Ruffner, RScP Emeritus.

Six students enrolled in the RSc Foundational course that was offered that same year.  Four of the six matriculated through several certificated courses that culminated in the completion of the Practitioner Professional Studies in 2010. These “first students” are affectionately called The Associates. Each one is making a difference in the world and embraces the universal spiritual principles as taught by the Science of Mind as a way of life. They are, as follows, from left to right:Judy Hilley, Corporate Manager; Nagueyalti Warren, PhD, author and Professor Emerita in African American Studies at Emory University; Rueben C Warren, DDS, MPH, Dr.P.H., MDiv, is Professor of Bioethics and Director of the National Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care, Tuskegee University and Minister; Angela “Chris” Beam is a Veriitas-Certified Labyrinth Facilitator.

The spiritual consciousness of these individuals inspired StillPoint to expand its program. In 2012, The Gathering, an open forum for the greater community of truth seekers, was initiated. StillPoint now moves into Phase III, adding a Weekly Blog to its Quarterly Gatherings and Certificated Classes.
